Scrap Prime 4 and give us Mathcad 16
The only thing that people seem to like about Mathcad Prime is its better unit handling. If my assertion is true and it is also true that Prime and MC15 are still using the Mathcad 12 kernel why not just incorporate the better unit handling in Mathcad 15? What other benefits does Prime have over MC15? If PTC. believes a MS ribbon interface is cool that's fine and they are at liberty to have ribbon version which they can use internally if that keeps them happy. So here is my solution for PTC. Get 2 good programmers for 2 months. One programmer works on incorporating the new unit handling into MC15 and the other works on incorporating the new numerical solvers. Allow a month for quality assurance and ship Mathcad 16 on August 1 2014. Every Mathcad user is happy PTC is happy also because it can continue to play with its toy version of Mathcad Prime internally and let the users concentrate on what should be in the Mathcad 17. Afterall without us there is no Mathcad, yet PTC never asks its users what they want in the program. Are PTC software builders or demolishes users have the right to decide who they are employing, we pay their wages, after all we are PTC clients but I think they have forgotten that. It's about time they put away their toys and grow up.

Plotting issues in MC prime 2.0
I'm having trouble plotting a function in MathCad Prime 2.0. Essentially I need to plot various moments of inertia as the angle theta changes. I've tried a couple different things (still a MathCad novice) but nothing seems to work. I've gotten alot of errors saying "there are too many range vairable" and the like. I need the I_base and I_cs functions plotted. Attached is my current worksheet. Feel free to play with it and change some things. Any help would be appreciated.

Export all variables to Excel
Hey guys,
is there an easy way to copy / export all variables of a Mathcad xcmd-file to excel?
I could insert a excel object and export all variables manually but i am to lazy to do this with approx. 1000 variables.

If "blank greater than blank" and "blank greater than blank"
I have a question regarding if statements. I am trying to program the following:
If x>y "and" x>z, then x=c.
Can anyone help me with this? I was thinking an "also if" statement would work, but I don't think I'm entering it right. Does "also if" only return the value if either expression is true?

Excel column lable
In excel, the columns are labled from A, B, C etc. Mathcad gives column lables in numbers. Is there any easy way to correlate lables both ways, from excel to mathcad and back?

Hy! I've created an algorithm. I've attached it.
In this algorithm I have assigned initial values to x1,y1,p1,p2,p3,p4.
Then I inserted a "while" function. My question is: why don't the variables take the new values?
For example: Q is the new value of A. This means that x1,x2,p1,p2,p4 have new values, but the results that the algorithm gives me are still the initial values. I want the new values that variables have untill the "while" function is fulfilled.

Problems of Fast Fourier Transform (FFT)
Hello Mathcad community!
I'm unexpirienced Mathcad user, but I was able to solve all my problems and misunderstandings by myself. Till now.
I'm trying to analyse the experiment results of electric field measurement. I wanna convert the result into frequency domain by using Fast Fourier Transform (FFT).
I had done some programming in Mathcad prime succesfully, but now I can't find where my mistake is.
I'm attaching sheet and imgs.

Custom Functions - Using C#?
Hello,
I'm wondering if C# will be implemented so that any custom functions we write in C#, we would be able to implement into the MathCad Worksheet. Is this a possibility for the future, or will C++ and C be the primary custom coding language functions?
I realize that C# and C++ are quite close in nature, but there are some differences.

Looping with Local Variables
Apparently I don't understand local variables very well. In the code below, I'm trying to iterate the minimization function using solutions from the previous iteration. After the initial iteration, the values are not updated. Can someone please tell me what I'm doing wrong?

Mathcad 15 and Excel 2013?
Hi,
We just upgraded to Excel 2013 this week and the first casualty of the change was Mathcad 15. While I can embed the Mathcad template in Excel sheet, I don't know how to pass the variables from Excel to Mathcad. When I was using Excel 2003, I used to just name the cells as variables adn then assign them as in0. in1 etc usign the toolbar attached towards right hand side. But I can't see that toolbar in Excel 2013 now.

Variables in Functions
The way Mathcad handles variables isn't intuitive (for me anyway). Variable assignments are valid only within a function, and have no effect on the variable outside the function.
This will be obvious to anyone who has done much programming in Mathcad, but I haven't seen this noted anywhere.

Solve Block for vectors
Dear all
I am trying to solve a hydraulics problem where Tunnel section changes at fixed location.
While writing solve block for getting the water depth at particular location, I am getting error.
I guess, writing sove block as a function will help, but I am unable to figure it out.
Please have a look on the files.
